“Resolved: The TR as the Word of God is Equal to the NT Autographs”
I’m surprised James White took the topic. I don’t think White will say that the TR is not the Word of God. As far as “is Equal to the Autographs”, seeing he has never seen them I’m unsure how he knows the TR isn’t them.
The date for the debate is set for September 24th.

Likewise, how could one know that the “TR” is “equal to the autographs,” seeing as they have never seen them? (And this is where the actual burden of truth lies.)

The original autographs were actually the KJV. Being that all appeal to actual evidence in history is dismissed by TR advocates as “naturalistic,” you can’t give a cogent reason why they weren’t.
The TR position is absurd.
