Is a Translation Still God’s Word?

Over this past weekend I had the opportunity to be on The King’s Men podcast and discuss the anatomy of Christian belief, what the Bible says about itself, and why I read the Bible I read. In this second episode we discuss how a translation can be properly understood as inspired.

Blessings.

  1. I just listened to the podcast. I arrived to the same conclusion than you, it is related to Gordon Clark apologetics:

The view of truth that I wish to restate is this: Truth is propositional, and only propositional. To put it even more plainly, truth is a property, characteristic, or attribute only of propositions.

So, doesn’t matter what language is the proposition, if it contain the same meaning, it is true in any language.
